Barbara Herron

Executive Director

Barb has an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Studies from Union Institute & University. Barb has worked in the early childhood field in Cincinnati for over 27 years. She has worked in the classroom, served as an Education Coordinator, Mental Health and Disabilities Coordinator, Early Learning Initiative Coordinator, Education and Curriculum Specialist, and most recently, as an Early Childhood Specialist. In her role as Early Childhood Specialist, she spent the majority of her time as a social and emotional classroom coach through the Resilient Children and Families Program, going into classrooms throughout the tri-state area supporting teachers and directors. Barb also works as a Child Development Associate (CDA) instructor for the EC Learn CDA Preparation Program. As you can see, Barb comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have had the opportunity to work with Barb over the years and feel confident in her ability to lead the Center. She is in alignment with our mission and vision and will continue to provide high quality care in a nurturing environment.
