Mindy Luegering
Preschool Teacher
Mindy Luegering is a native of Cincinnati. This is her first time working in a childcare setting. She previously worked for Head Start for four years. Her Early childhood profession began when she received her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Cincinnati State. She went to college for the first time in 2011 after being a stay at home mom for eleven years. She stated working at ELC at UC in March of 2018. She now has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Cincinnati. What motivates her about working with children is seeing their developmental growth surrounding their social and emotional skills.
She has been married to her husband Tim for twenty years. They have three children: Molly is a student at the University of Cincinnati studying to be a Nurse Practitioner. Her son Gus will be a senior at Oak Hills High School in the fall and her daughter Evelyn will be a junior, she plays softball for Oak Hills. As a family they like to take summer vacations in Fort Meyer where she can spend her days searching for sea shells.
