Tamara Jackson

Infant Teacher

Tamara C. Jackson and has worked at the Early Learning Campus at UC since September 2020. This is actually her return date, as she worked for the center in 2019. She briefly left to expand her knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education in administration but ultimately, she chose to come back because ELC at UC is a wonderful place to grow and teach quality education. She graduated in 2019 from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College with an AAS in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working on a BA in Early Childhood Administration.

Throughout the past 11 years of working as an educator, she has spent the majority of time working with infants and toddlers. Being an infant/toddler teacher allows her to set the stage for her students’ first exposure to school and education. Tamara has also had the opportunity to become a paraprofessional and work with children that have behavioral needs and children on the autism spectrum. During this period, she worked with children from grades K-8th as a Title 1 reading teacher. She thoroughly enjoyed each of these opportunities!

When Tamara is not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends. They enjoy taking trips together and just enjoying each other’s company. When she is not with her family and friends, she enjoys reading, baking, and watching movies.
